Grey-area drinkers

grey areaHello there,

Maybe I am late on this one but I’ve recently watched this Ted talk about grey-area drinkers. And let me tell you that Jolene is describing exactly how I used to be as a drinker.

But I enjoyed even more reading this article about our changing relationship with alcohol.

Saying “I am not an alcoholic” can be an easy way out to try to avoid your problems with alcohol. My drinking profile was nowhere to be found when I was looking at the usual divide between “alcoholic” vs “non-alcoholic” but deep down I knew my drinking habits were not helpful.
